Our 3.5T vehicles are fully equipped to transport up to 2 horses, we have a generous payload of 1.100kg. For safety reasons and to abide by the law we will not exceed the payloads and overload our horse boxes. All prices include Tracking, CCTV monitoring, loading and unloading. We are fully insured and have Animal Transport Authorised – Type 2.
Various extra’s are available such as travel boot hire, rug hire and tail guards / bandages – please inquire at time of booking.
Mileage charged at a £1.20 per mile rate for 1 horse/pony
Groom service £15
Minimum charge £75 (covers up to 50 miles round trip from base)
Additional horse charge of 20p a mile for 2nd horse/pony
A minimum call out charge of £100 will apply
Plus mileage charged at a pence per mile rate – please enquire
Stud work is a speciality and our partition is fully movable to allow plenty of room for mare and foal together.
We allow 15 mins loading time, thereafter an additional charge of £25ph will apply for horses that refuse to load. We ask that customers note our insurance requires our drivers or grooms to load horses, if this is something you would rather do yourself please discuss your requirements when making a booking. Please discuss any loading and travelling concerns or issues prior to making a booking. This allows us to allocate the necessary time as well as plan and prepare.
A waiting charge may be applicable – please discuss. Waiting time is charged at £15ph.
Waiting time will be charged at events whilst our horse box waits for you to complete your event or at the vets: or if the lorry is kept waiting for a horse after the allocated pick up time has elapsed.
